Homeowner and Burbank REALTOR’s Guide to Selling Burbank Houses: Accept Prequalified Tenants Only

As a homeowner or a Burbank REALTOR trying to sell a home, it would be a waste of time when a potential buyer later states that he doesn’t have a mortgage and that’s why he is withdrawing. Understand that having an application for a mortgage isn’t at all easy. Many get turned down due to bad credit background. For that, you need to look for potential tenants who can easily get a mortgage approval.

When potential buyers approach you and begin asking questions, try asking them back your questions. Ask them if they are prequalified for a mortgage from a lender. If the potential buyers says ‘yes’, then ask them for what purchase price are they qualified. But if the answer is ‘no’, require them to have a prequalification before checking the house.
